FAMILY NIGHT LAST NIGHT!!

Yes, it was really fun!
We have been very busy with shopping, birthdays etc, but we have recently had the time to spent the afternoon and evening in front of a roaring bonfire which is burning logs and twigs and things that the inside fire isn't big enough for.

Mum went up the road and bought fish and chips and we had tea outside, rounding it up with a marshmallow toast after the flames had died down.  My marshmallow caught a flame when I glanced away and soon got dropped in the ash. I peeled off the burnt bits and gave them to Bobby, He loves nights out.  He got a piece of chip, a drink from a paper bag that had sauce and hot-dog in it, some crusty marshmallow edges, and lots of love and cuddles.

While Mum was out getting tea, we entertained ourselves by chopping up branches,
doing trick photography,
and sizzling dock leaves.

My brother's little toy puppy was sitting on his lap and trying to get the biscuit out of his hand (really he wasn't, but my brother was pretending.)
The toy was given to me, and I had to look after it.

No Doggy, no!

 Uh-oh too late now.

It went on until dark and mist was starting to form. The heat of the fire kept the mist in the neighbor's
paddock.  We trudged back to the house looking back now and then to the giant "burnt marshmallow" and thinking of what a lovely time we had just had.
