LIP BALMS

I'm Back!

The other day I made some lip balm, and it has worked out quite nicely.

Ingredients:

Teaspoon   Beeswax Flakes
Quarter Teaspoon   Honey
Half Teaspoon   Lanolin
Teaspoon   Coconut Oil
3 Drops   Essential Oil {of your choice}

Method:
Put all ingredients into a tiny pot. (I used an old small cup)
Use a double boiler, or put the cup in boiling water in a saucepan until beeswax melts.
Whip with an old fork until mixed, adding ess. oil.*
Use a small plastic syringe to squirt into lip balm tubes, or pour into small jars.  You may want to make a little more mixture for small jars.

* Make sure you work fast, otherwise it will harden.  Also, if you add the ess. oil and then put it back into the boiling water, you may wreck the scent, taste, and - if using healing oils - the health qualities.

Label and enjoy!

PS
Refrigerate before use, for about 5 - 6  hours.  I did mine in the evening and they were ready to go by the morning.

Also, the honey may make the first one or two twists and or applications a little sticky.
